Each year, approximately 1,500 fire service leaders from across the nation attend the National Fire and Emergency Services Symposium and Dinner, making the event one of the largest and most prestigious in the fire service. These local, state, and national leaders are the decision makers who influence policy, practice, and behavior to make the fire and emergency services safer. No other event assembles such a distinguished and diverse group of fire and emergency services leaders.

The event is hosted by the Congressional Fire Services Institute (CFSI). Established in 1989, CFSI is a nonprofit, privately-funded policy institute designed to educate members of Congress about the challenges and needs of the fire and emergency services and to advocate for federal programs that address those needs.

By supporting the 30th Annual National Fire and Emergency Services Symposium and Dinner, your organization will help CFSI to continue its important work and stay at the forefront of a number of federal initiatives, including:

  • Continued funding of the Assistance to Firefighters and the Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response grant programs;
  • The Fire Sprinkler Incentive Act that would provide economic incentives to retrofit commercial buildings with automatic fire sprinkler systems;
  • The Firefighter Cancer Registry Act, creates a specialized national registry to provide researchers and epidemiologists with the tools and resources they need to improve research collection activities related to the monitoring of cancer incidence among firefighters;
  • Continued oversight of the Public Safety Officers’ Benefits program to ensure the timeliness and transparency in the Justice Department’s processing of PSOB death, disability, and educational assistance claims.

Each year, CFSI advocates for the issues that not only build a more effective and better prepared fire service, but a safer America. Working with the 38 national fire service organizations that serve on our National Advisory Committee, we have made a difference within the fire and emergency services community and our record speaks for itself.

Now you can make a positive difference for CFSI by becoming a sponsor of the National Fire and Emergency Services Symposium and Dinner. Each year, we offer a number of sponsorship opportunities. Ranging in values, they offer a number of unique benefits that will capture the attention of our 1,500 guests. Take a look at the complete list of sponsorship opportunities we are now offering for our 2018 program and let us know which appeals to you. If you have questions, do not hesitate to give us a call at 202-371-1277.
