Session 1

Understanding the Risks and Regulations of Micromobility and Lithium-Ion Batteries
This session explores the rapidly growing world of lithium-ion batteries, micromobility and the fire safety challenges it presents. Topics include an overview of micromobility, current federal legislation impacting lithium-ion batteries and micromobility, safe transport of lithium-ion batteries and a look at the guide from NFSA on lithium-ion batteries and fire sprinkler systems.

Take a dive in to the latest training programs, reports, and resources available to help fire and emergency services personnel navigate the challenges posed by lithium-ion batteries.
