📌NIOSH Publishes Gear Laundering Guidance. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health recently released two bulletins on methods for reducing firefighter exposure to contaminated gear. Both Laundering Gear to Protect Firefighters and Protecting Firefighters from Contaminated Gear evaluates exposure controls departments can use to prevent health risks associated with exposure to fireground contaminants.

📌 Three New Fire Fighter Fatality Investigation and Prevention Program (FFFIPP) Reports Released. These reports include the conditions and circumstances leading to firefighter deaths and injuries, and recommendations to prevent similar events in the future based on the FFFIPP investigation.
