The Congressional Fire Services Institute (CFSI) and Motorola Solutions are proud to announce that Bill Webb, past Executive Director of CFSI is the recipient of the 2026 CFSI/Motorola Solutions Mason Lankford Fire Service Leadership Award. The award will be presented on March 19, 2026 at the 36th Annual National Fire and Emergency Services Dinner.
Webb served as Executive Director of CFSI for three decades, providing strategic leadership and unwavering advocacy that amplified the fire service’s voice on Capitol Hill. His efforts helped secure and sustain national priorities such as the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) and the United States Fire Administration (USFA), strengthening firefighter safety, operational readiness, and the well-being of the communities they serve. In addition he is an honorary member of the Vienna, Virginia Volunteer Fire Department, the Delaware Volunteer Firefighter’s Association, and the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 36. He also serves on the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation Board of Directors.
